Another gift from God a brand New Year 2015 has begun 🙂 So lets not get distracted with the little pebbles in the sands and set sail to discover the treasures in the great big ocean of truth. For isn’t that our real purpose in this life?

The vast and beautiful ocean is not far it lies deep within ourselves. The journey will be quiet and lonely to begin with but as we trim our sails to the winds we enjoy the bliss of freedom. And this bliss in real terms is here and now ~ love, nature, peace and harmony and unleashing our hidden creativity and genius.

Cheers dear friends 😉

The truth yes – I hope so, but are we always the only ones responsible for our happiness?

Hi Paula that’s a very good question by coincidence “Happiness” was the discussed at our self development meeting. I’ll share one of the quotes “No one has that perfect life, if you wait for happiness you’ll wait for ever, but if you start believing that you are happy you will be happy forever”.

In practice however it is difficult to accept this wisdom but we do know that Happiness or Sorrow is a state of mind. 🙂

Once again thanks for your lovely question!

      Cheers.

  10. Such a mind-boggling concept, Newton’s quote. And it’s thoughts such as these that I love to struggle with for a minute or two–and then usually need to put aside when smoke begins escaping from my ears.
I look forward to reading many more of your words, as I’m sure they’ll be a “breath of fresh air.”
    Cheers

This is such a great quote about how much more we have to learn and discover in life. Newton was a free thinker and inspiration. It is nice to visit your blog again. Happy New Year!

P.S. I have been away from blogging – sort of hit and miss. Now that I have finished school, I am back. I had to start a new blog since my husband stopped paying for the self-hosted one. I’m now on WP.com.

What a wonderful quote and a matching post egging people on to the journey within. Your post took me back in time to my under-graduate days in the early 1970s when I first heard Isaac Newton’s cited quote from one of the speakers in a symposium. Let us wish one another bon voyage as we set sail at the beginning of another glorious year….Raj.
