“Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died!” ~ Erma Bombeck

This winter flowering bush is so attractive that people passing stop by and admire its beauty in fascination. And especially on a moonlit night the effect is beautiful and electrifying. The tiny white flowers grow profusely and very few of the green leaves can be seen. It seems as if there are no leaves. But sadly the bloom lasts only a few months :(. Once the winter recedes the bush once again turns green. People passing by try their best to guess the name of this bush but no one seems to know. If you happen to know its name please do share.

Cheers and have a lovely dayΒ  πŸ™‚

Postscript: I forgot to mention the flowers have a pleasant Jasmine like fragrance too. And the fragrance is evident even atΒ a distance of 5 ft. πŸ™‚

  5. I wonder if it is some kind of jasmine. I have a night blooming jasmine, so perhaps this is a winter-blooming one. Just a guess though – no real idea. Love the Erma quote.

Why the plants in S V do not die?? Visit any DU or a block.
There are some plants in most of the places. And hence S V carries on.
When in the arid zone of Pokran / Jaisalmer, I have seen greenery around the
temp Army Camp of units who came for firing, training etc.And they
had a no. of visitors for their Dr.
I agree do not go to a Dr. who can not look after his own plants.
