  1. haha so true, I know so many blessed people who just cant embrace happiness. its a state of mind, realization, recognition and acknowledgment of the blessings you have in life. Not everyone finds it easy to do

Oh yes happiness seems so nebulous and elusive that it is difficult to grace or embrace. People with true wisdom say that happiness is already within us and we only need to look within :) But you are right its not easy to find it – because of the clutter in our minds (:

Simply put it is best to ‘live life less serious’ and be happy :) Best wishes and have fun.

  2. This is true. The Tibetans have even come up with a scale for measuring happiness.

    dear sir,

this is somehow not ringing true because the Buddha was always focussed on thoughtless nirvana…

i think this is a derived version of his original quote that is captured beautifully in this comic strip…

I chanced upon this blog by chance and each of his comics are worth pondering over … an innovative way to share soulful wisdom…

Reminded of a quote, my dear friend.

“Laugh & the world laughs with you.
    Weep & you weep alone”

So why not be happy -You will atleast have some company

  8. Loved this saying Dilip, and how many of us still crave it outside of our Being?
Wishing you a peaceful weekend and week ahead

I totally believe in this maxim, as you see people who have everything and still unhappy, whereas some with few things are always happy..
